Front End Developer, Creator of Stuff, Player of Games

I'm Pete Gale, a front-end developer from Newport, South Wales.

Things I say...

Blogging about web development, technology and terrible doodles.

Things I do...

I'm passionate about the things I create, both in the office and at home.

I'm a Front End / UI Developer on the Sports team at Immediate Media in Bristol. In my spare time I work with other tools and technologies, including WordPress.

If you'd like to know more about my skills and experience, you can take a look at my CV.

I also enjoy writing fiction, both long and short. I'll sometimes put something online if I'm happy with it - which doesn't happen very often - but I'm getting more confidence with practice!

Things I like...

A hobby isn't just a pastime - it's an insight into the person you are, and the person you want to be.

Friends and family are extremely important to me, and I’m extremely blessed to have so many awesome people in my life. I also enjoy all kinds of media: film, television, music, games and books.

Interesting stories and compelling fiction capture my interest, no matter the medium. From sprawling space operas including books by the late Iain M. Banks or the Mass Effect series, to fantasy epics from the likes of Games of Thrones and Final Fantasy – these are the things that spark my imagination.
